Introduction
These general terms and conditions of purchase apply to your purchases on, and use of, the website www.butaley.com. The terms and conditions constitute an agreement between you and Butaley Dog Accessories Jefia Freitag, Sunnansjö 156, 855 98 Liden (hereinafter “Butaley” or “We”). By making a purchase on, and using, this website, you undertake to comply with the following terms and conditions. We therefore ask you to carefully read these terms and conditions before using our website.

Confirmation
Once we receive an order from you, we will send an electronic confirmation/invoice to your email address which will confirm your purchase. It is therefore important that you provide the correct email address when you make an order. We recommend that you save this confirmation in order to facilitate any future contact with our customer service. The confirmation email also constitutes a receipt of purchase.

Payment
You may pay with either credit or debit cards. Stripe manages all of our banking transactions.
Butaley does not handle any debit or credit card numbers itself.

Payment by card
Pay with your Visa, American Express or Master Card securely over the Internet. Your payment is handled by Stripe with secure encryption and under strict banking standards. Your card details are sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or accessed by anyone other than your bank. There is no extra charge for card payments but the issuer of your card may charge interest or other fees under the terms of your card agreement. When paying by credit/debit card starting conditions apply as soon as the card transaction is approved. In the event that no payment has been received after submitting your order, Butaley Dog Accessories may automatically cancel your order.

Payment with Klarna
If you choose to pay with Klarna, additional terms will apply between you and Klarna. These terms are presented at checkout.

Prices
All prices displayed on Butaley website (www.butaley.com) includes VAT in accordance with applicable law. If an order is to be sent to a delivery address outside of the EU, VAT will be deducted from the price on the payment page. Note that if an order is sent to a country outside of the EU, import duties and taxes may be applied, which will be charged once the item has reached your delivery address. You are responsible for the payment of such import duties and taxes. It should be noted that Butaley Dog Accessories does not have any control over these charges, and because such charges vary from country to country, Butaley Dog Accessories cannot predict how much they will be. Butaley recommends that you contact your local customs office for further information.

Orders
Orders placed in the name of another party without their consent will be reported. Butaley reserves the right to change and correct prices for all orders, including final purchases. If a price is incorrect, this may be a reason for Butaley to cancel the purchase and refund the amount paid in the best possible way. This can be done at any time. Each product is configured by the customer and is therefore customised. This customised product cannot be exchanged! In the case of prefabricated products that cannot be configured, the customer has the right to return an item within 14 days of receiving the order. This right only applies on condition that the product and its original packaging are returned in the same condition as they were in on delivery. If the customer exercises their right of return, they should contact Butaley Dog Accessories to obtain an address to which they can send the item. The cost of the return shipment is borne by the customer. If an item is damaged in transit to the customer, Butaley Dog Accessories should be contacted within 14 days for information on compensation. If the customer is not satisfied with an item they have configured themselves, Butaley Dog Accessories should be contacted. 

Returns
In the event of a refund, the original shipping costs will not be refunded - unless we have sent you the wrong products. To return the product or exchange it for a different colour or size, contact Butaley Dog Accessories.

Self-configured products, i.e. all collars and leads are customised products and cannot be exchanged. If the product does not arrive in perfect condition, the customer should contact Butaley Dog Accessories.

Personal information
When you make a purchase on our website, we will save certain items of personal data in order to facilitate your purchase. You have the right to request access to your data and if any information is incorrect, you are entitled to have it corrected or removed. Butaley may also use cookies for various purposes, e.g. in order to improve your experience of the website. You can read more about how we use your personal data and cookies here.

Product information
Butaley Dog Accessories is entitled to change prices, add extra charges and amend product information without providing prior notice. Product images and other information aim to reflect the products as much as possible. We make reservations, however, for any faults which may arise on the website and cannot guarantee that all images represent the actual appearance of the products in a fully accurate manner. The images must be considered as illustrations only. Image quality can also vary depending on the colour settings on your computer, phone or tablet.

Deliveries and cancellations
Butaley Dog Accessories delivers its products to Sweden, Finland, Danmark and Norway. Deliveries are made in cooperation with the transport companies (and their partners) that Butaley has agreements with. We do not accept returns or refunds on custom collars and leashes. The customer bears all risks associated with returning items to Butaley. If you, the customer, find that the delivery of an item is unusually delayed and therefore you no longer wish to proceed with the purchase, it is your responsibility to cancel the order. If the item has already been dispatched, the customer must accept the order. Cancellations are only valid once they have been confirmed by Butaley by email. If a product is no longer sold, Butaley is entitled to cancel the order and issue a refund. Butaley will inform the customer of replacement products or equivalent products if available.

Customer complaints
It is important that you as a customer check your consignment carefully on receipt. If your item has been damaged during transport, you must report this to the transport company as soon as possible. This applies regardless of whether the damage is visible or not. If you discover after receiving the goods that they are damaged or do not match the goods ordered, you must contact us within 14 days. All complaints must be addressed to contact@butaley.com. Please quote your order number and the reason for your complaint so that we can give you further instructions on how to return the item. Defective or faulty products returned to Butaley must still be handled with care by the customer as if they were free from defects. Regardless of the reason for the return, it is of great importance that the product is well packaged so that it cannot be damaged during transport. If a product is returned and has no defects, Butaley will return the product to the customer. If a product is to be exchanged, it must be exchanged for an equivalent model. If a particular product is no longer available, the customer is entitled to a refund instead. If a dispute arises between you as a customer and Butaley and we are unable to resolve the dispute, you can submit an online complaint to the EU Online Dispute Resolution facility. Liability
The liability of Butaley Dog Accessories for errors in connection with the delivery is limited in accordance with the delivery conditions applicable to the delivery in question and what follows from these conditions. Our liability to you for any loss or damage incurred in connection with your order on www.butaley.com is limited to the total amount of your order. Butaley is not liable for indirect damages.

Force majeure
Butaley is free from liability and other consequences due to circumstances beyond the control of Butaley Dog Accessories. Such circumstances may include, for example, government intervention, new/changed legislation, war, fire, flooding, labour disruptions, prohibitions, restrictions, sabotage, poor transport and weather conditions, non-delivery by a supplier or cases in which Butaley Dog Accessories or one of its partners is exposed to criminal activity.

User-generated content
Our website may contain user-generated content from sources such as social media. Butaley Dog Accessories accepts no legal responsibility for such material. If you suspect an infringement of copyright or any other right, or if you believe that your rights have been infringed in any other way by the content published on the website, please contact our customer service.

Retention of title
All products remain the property of Butaley Dog Accessories until full payment has been received.

Fraud
All attempts at fraud will be reported to the police. Butaley reserves the right to cancel a purchase if criminal or fraudulent activity is suspected.

Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms and your use of this Website are governed by Swedish law. To the extent permitted by law, the Swedish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site, except where Butaley Dog Accessories decides on its own initiative to sue a customer/user at his place of residence.

Termination
Butaley Dog Accessories reserves the right to terminate your account and/or your use of the Site in its sole discretion. This may occur, for example, if Butaley suspects that you have violated these Terms. Such termination may occur without prior notice.

Validity of the clauses
If one or several of these conditions are declared to be invalid or judged to be ineffective by a court or regulatory authority, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining conditions.

Rights holders
Intellectual property, such as trademarks and copyrights, found on www.butaley.com and owned by Butaley may not be used for commercial purposes without the permission of Butaley. Any use of www.butaley.com or its contents, including copying or storing such content in whole or in part, other than for your own personal and non-commercial use, is prohibited without the express permission of Butaley Dog Accessories.
